As Dietlikon was the dominating team in Group A, this was the match to decide which team makes it into the semifinals. The Norwegian team of Holmila scored a goal by a volley shot after 29 seconds. After that, the match was very good and fast with very few time stops. The match was very balanced and Holmila was very unlucky, when the ball hit the inner post short before the first period break.
Early in second half the Czech team from Liberec managed to tie the score. They really deserved that and this goal cheered them up playing even better. The result was a second goal for them in the 39th minute, but this time Holmila tied the score 20 seconds before the second break.
Liberec did not manage to score during a powerplay, but Holmila did it in the 52nd minute of the match. Holmila seemed to have a great chance to face the final matches, but Liberec scored two goals in the 53rd and 55th minute. The Czech time needed some to minutes to switch back to a great defensive play, which made them the deserved winner.
