Cologne took advantage of two early Brauweiler mistakes in the first half. Brauweiler was lucky to trail by two goals after 45 minutes, as Dietmar Herhaus' team had a huge couple of chances just before halftime. In second half, Cologne started strong before Brauweiler took control of the match being supported by a red card against the Cologne team. Nevertheless, Brauweiler's offense was too weak to take advantage of their opportunities. Finally, Cologne was the better team of the whole match.
