In front of an impressive 10.735 spectator crowd, Germany played the first preparation match for the 2007 World Cup
in Magdeburg in Saxony - Anhalt. After a good start for the guest team, Germany started to control the match and scored the first goal by a Melanie Behringer
goal, which might also be regarded as an own goal by Denmark's goalie Heidi Johansen, who got hit by the ball after the shot had hit the bar. Birgit Prinz scored the 2:0 goal, which was as well the halftime score. In second half, Germany
decreased the pressure slightly, but was still able to score twice by Lira Bajmaraj and local player Conny Pohlers.
