In this 24th August 2008 Kreisliga match, Vernich had a good start and scored a first goal after a nice free kick. Vernich was the better team in the second half. They wasted several chances, but scored short before the break for the second time. In the second period, Wißkirchen came back when they closed up the score. Nevertheless, Vernich held the lead though they acted quite unlucky in some scoring situations.
