In a very nervous match with an overall of twelve two minutes penalties and one disqualification, Bayer Dormagen committed many unforced errors, but Wallau-Massenheim was not able to take profit of them. Finally, Bayer was not endangered to loose this match. Thus, they remained first-placed in the second Bundesliga season.
