ThSV Eisenach - VfL Pfullingen 24:24 (11:11)

On February, 7th, one of my dreams came true, when I was allowed from German Premier League Handball, which might be the highest league or sports event I may realistically get to in Germany. The match was between the two worst teams at that time, the ThSV Eisenach and VfL Pfullingen.
During the first twenty minutes there were just eleven goals altogether giving the guest team a 5:6-lead. The only remarkable fact was that Eisenach managed to prevent Pfullingen from shooting a goal for nine minutes. The last ten minutes were positively much better than the start of the game. For the first time of the match, Eisenach managed to get the lead shortly after period break. After that, they played their best that day, but could not lead higher than three goals. In a thrilling ending of the match, Pfullingen managed to tie the score again and again.
Eisenach was the better team in that match, but wasted too many chances, especially during the first twenty minutes of the match. On the other hand, Pfullingen gave a great fight and took profit of nearly all of their opportunities. Thanks a lot to Eisenach who allowed me to take pictures of that match.
