On the first weekend of August 2006, Cologne hosted the German Frisbee Sports Championships. Apart from a freestyle contest, several teams competed in the Ultimate Frisbee team sports, which is a bit like rugby or American football - the aim is to bring the disc into the opponent's end zone. You may just run until you don't have the disc. The sports looked quite fun to play it yourself, but due to too many breaks in the game, as the teams change court and have a quite long strategical chat after each point scored, it seemed not to be that attactive for spectators to me.
